How to get wine rating
There are many publications where you can submit your wine to receive rating.
The most important are:
- Wine Spectator (FAQ)
- Wine Enthusiast (FAQ)
- Wine & Spirits
- Wine Advocate Robert Parker’s rating system
Usually you need to send two bottles to each publication. There are different deadlines based on the type of the wine. It makes sense only to send high quality wines for rating.
It might take 6 months for a review to appear. Ratings are quite possibly the most essential tool for sales in U.S. The awards which your wine got on local wine shows, in an obscure publication or international level will mean nothing to the U.S. industry professional or consumer. U.S. ratings are extremely important and getting good rating is an immediate marketing tool.
We can submit your wines to magazines and make it a key part of our marketing plan. See more about importing wine to U.S.A.
